This summit in central part of Lescun
amphitheatre has a
needle in front a little more elevated called Pic
d'Ansabère or, more concretely, Grande Aguille d'Ansabère
(2,377 m).
With the name of Ansabère is denominated
all the set of needles that finish off the superior part of
Lescun amphitheatre, where unevennesses of more than
300 meters has been object of some of the most prestigious
scalings of the Pyrenean bulk.
In spite of the little distance
between Petretxema (2,366 ms) and Pic
d'Ansabère (2,377 ms), only the passage
of a giant or the jump of an hiper-athlete can reach the top
without requiring scaling. |
