Fortunately, the violent storm has
passed away and I have only seen the flash lightning
and thunders in a certain distance. To be caught in the
middle of a storm in high mountain is one of these things
that make you think ‘What
the hell I’m doing here!’
The spectacle can be terrifying and
dreadful if you are alone in the middle of a granite
desert, flash lightning falling a few meters from where
you are, water pouring down with no compassion… And
you can do nothing, except to start to believe in God
again and pray you will be good next time.
Then, there is a certain and indescribable
beauty, the Theory of the Sublime: a romantic term that
especially refers to a greatness with which nothing else
can be compared and which is beyond all possibility of
calculation, measurement or imitation. |
