Uelhs deth Joèu
Val d'Aran, Lleida, Catalunya

September 1, 2007

We suggest you to visit Uelhs deth Joèu: it is not a conventional source, because its water come from Aneto's glaciar, that, after joining in Plan de Aigualluts, disappear in a kind of hole named 'Forau d'Aigualluts' in Benasque Valley.

These waters go then subterraneanly below of mountains that are between both valleys, and appear here again with strength and creating an impressive surrounding, starting the Joèu river, a Garona tributary. Garona flows in Atlantic Ocean, in France.
